Stacey M. Brandenburg

Stacey M. Brandenburg is a seasoned privacy and data security attorney with extensive experience advising clients at ZwillGen PLLC since June 2013 as a Shareholder. With a background as a veteran of the Federal Trade Commission's Division of Privacy and Identity Protection, Stacey regularly assists clients in navigating FTC investigations and compliance related to Section 5 of the FTC Act, advertising practices, and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Stacey has also served as an Adjunct Professor at American University Washington College of Law from 2010 to 2018, and previously worked as an Attorney at the Federal Trade Commission (2006-2008) and Steptoe & Johnson LLP (2001-2006). Additionally, Stacey participated as a Resident Scholar at the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation in 1996-1997.
