Executive Moves You Should Know About This Week (August 27, 2024)

Remitly

Vikas Mehta has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Remitly, an online remittance service that offers international money transfers to over a hundred countries. Mehta most recently served as CFO at Komodo Health, a prominent data analytics platform in the healthcare space. He has extensive financial experience having served in leadership positions at Anaplan, Nike, and Walmart as well.

OpenAI

OpenAI has hired Irina Kofman, a former Meta executive, as their Head of Strategic Initiatives. This comes following a series of high-profile exits as it continues to compete against Google and Meta’s own AI initiatives. Kofman was a Senior Director of Product Management for Generative AI while at Meta and before that, the COO of Google AI. Kofman will be focusing on AI safety and prepardness as she enters her new role at OpenAI.

Zillow

Soumya Srinagesh Tulloss joins Zillow as their Senior Vice President of Agent Sales where she will be responsible for the relationship between new and existing agents building their business with Zillow. She previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at Deliverr, a fulfillment network acquired by Shopify in 2022. Tulloss has had roles at other prominent tech companies including Twilio, GoodData, and PayPal.

Trustly

Trustly, an open banking payment provider, welcomes Adam D’arcy as their Chief Product Officer. Prior to Trustly, D’arcy was the CPO of Prodigy Finance, a digital funding platform for students in higher education. D’arcy has an extensive history in the fintech space having also served on Product teams at GoTo Group and HSBC.
