Toni Escudé Poulenc

Toni Escudé Poulenc has a long and varied career in architecture and sustainability. Starting in 1998, they worked as an Architect Collaborator at Felix Sen and Albert Aguirre Architects. In 2001, they co-founded Albert Massagué and Toni Escudé Architects. In 2007, they founded AT Arquitectura. In 2011, they became the Founding Partner and General Manager of arquitecturaAmbiental. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Member of the Barcelona City Council's Citizen Council for Sustainability. In 2016, they became an Architect Prescriptor for Sustainability and Health at ARQUIMA. In 2019, they co-founded Merarki Green Living Projects SLP. In 2017, they were the Vice President and Member of the Architecture and Sustainability Board of the College of Architects of Catalonia - COAC. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Head of Health and Sustainability at 011h.

Toni Escudé Poulenc has an extensive educational background. In 1992, they obtained an Arquitecto Superior degree from Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona. In 2010 and 2011, they completed a Postgrado en Sostenibilidad y Arquitectura and Los futuros estándares de certificación Europea: PassivHaus y Minerge courses at Escola SERT (Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Catalunya). In 2013, they completed a Postgrado en Gestión Energética de Edificios and Rehabilitación Energética de Edificios courses at Escola SERT (Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Cataluña). In 2013, they also completed a Termografía Infrarroja aplicada a la Edificación course at Infrared Training Centre. In 2014, they obtained a Máster en Biología de la Construcción from Institut für Baubiologie + Oekologie Neubeuern. In 2017, they completed a Curso Madera Constructiva course at Gremio de la Madera y el Mueble de Cataluña and obtained a Certified Passivhaus Designer and Certified Passivhaus Tradesperson from Passivhaus Institute. In 2020, they obtained an Evaluador Acreditado de Edificios VERDE and Advanced WELL Workshop certifications from Green Building Council España GBCE and International WELL Building Institute, respectively. In 2021, they obtained a Consultor DGNB System ES and Especialista en verificación de la Taxonomia Europea para Edificios certifications from Green Building Council España. In 2022, they are expected to obtain a Breeam Asociado certification from Breeam España (ITG).
