Dan Herman

Dan Herman possesses extensive experience in technology and ecommerce development, currently serving as Director of Technology for Front-end Development at 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. since November 2016 and concurrently at Harry & David since June 2005. Dan has held various roles including Senior Manager and Manager of Ecommerce Development, contributing to both front-end development and programming analysis in dynamic environments. Prior experience includes positions as a Network Technician and Student Union Webmaster at Southern Oregon University, where Dan managed IT support and web content. Dan’s foundational expertise in web development and programming began with roles at Visions Technology in Education, supporting ecommerce and maintaining educational software. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Southern Oregon University, awarded in 2005.
