Abdullah Abyad Raied has extensive experience in the technology and startup industry. Abdullah Abyad co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer of 10 Minute School, the largest ed-tech startup in Bangladesh. Under their leadership, the company grew from zero to a $4.5 million annual recurring revenue, raised $2 million seed funding from Sequoia Capital's Surge Program, and built a learning platform with over 5 million monthly learners.
Abdullah Abyad also co-founded Khamar-e, an agri-tech company focused on data-driven farming and supply chain management in Bangladesh. Although the company was shut down during the pandemic, Abdullah successfully raised $50,000 in pre-seed funding and developed a hardware prototype for a cattle health tracker.
Additionally, Abdullah has experience as a Co-Founder at Trovasys Technologies and worked as a Product Consultant at Bangladesh Institute of ICT in Development (BIID), where they contributed to the design and implementation of a technological platform to reach rural farmers.
Abdullah Abyad held leadership positions in various student organizations, such as Vice President of BUET Robotics Society, and served as an Organizing Team Member for TEDxBUET, a TEDx event at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Abdullah also worked as a Content & Branding Officer for HULT Prize at BUET and as an Executive for BUET Entrepreneurship Development Club.
Throughout their career, Abdullah has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit, technological expertise, and a passion for making a positive impact in the education and agriculture sectors.
Abdullah Abyad Raied completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their Higher Secondary Certificate in Science from Notre Dame College, Dhaka, from 2011 to 2013. Abdullah also holds additional certifications in "Scrum: The Basics" and "Blockchain Basics" from LinkedIn, obtained in 2019.
