Director, College Pathways, Sonoma, Lake & Napa at 10,000 Degrees

Eli Weinzveg, M.A., currently serves as the Director of College Pathways at 10,000 Degrees, an organization dedicated to supporting students from low-income backgrounds in California. Since January 2022, Eli has led initiatives to provide comprehensive support, college and financial aid counseling, and scholarships to over 12,000 students annually across eight Bay Area counties. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at Roseland School District from August 2017 to January 2022, where a 97% graduation rate was achieved among a predominantly low-income student population. Eli began a career in education as a Social Science Teacher at Roseland University Prep High School, where key responsibilities included negotiating for the educators' association and organizing professional development for faculty. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Educational/Instructional Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from California State University-Sacramento.
