José Esteves

José Esteves is a multidisciplinary designer and creative director based in Lisbon, Portugal, with more than 18 years of experience in fast-paced environments such as agencies and startups. José focuses on building memorable and scalable experiences for brands and digital products, always with an approach that seeks the elaboration of empathy, purpose, and creativity in its projects.

This approach is the same regardless of the brand and the type of project. From creating websites for supermarkets chains to complex content websites for large media outlets to implementing design systems for multi-brand companies, from designing the user interfaces for television and omnichannel products to defining user experiences for home banking platforms, interactive experiences for physical stores, to extensive video experiences at soccer stadiums.

Before joining 10up, José was leading design teams at startups, developing design and brand strategies while establishing design operations to build scalable teams.
