Amanda Janesick

Amanda Janesick, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at 10x Genomics, with a career that includes significant postdoctoral research at Stanford University School of Medicine and UC Irvine. At Stanford, Amanda focused on the regeneration mechanisms of cochlear sensory hair cells in birds, while also investigating potential regenerative capabilities in mammals. Previous research at UC Irvine concentrated on the molecular mechanisms of retinoic acid receptor interactions in embryonic development. Amanda holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology and a Bachelor's Degree in Genetics and Mathematics from UC Irvine.
