André du Plessis

André du Plessis is an experienced Mechatronics Engineer who values good structure and doing things right. He has been the technical lead on numerous product development projects for startups in emerging markets as well as multinational companies. He has experience in developing for a range of applications: industrial machines, IoT systems, boat building, ICT management and everything in between. With this, he has hands-on experience during each phase of development; from requirements elicitation all the way to production line setup for mass manufacture. He has a passion for building race cars in his spare time and finds fulfillment in his family, home, animals and adventures.
