Kurt Johnson

Managing Partner, CEO, Founder at 11.2 Ventures

Kurt Johnson has had an extensive career in venture capital and entrepreneurship. In 2020, they became the Managing Partner, CEO, and Founder of 11.2 Ventures, LLC, a venture capital firm that disrupts the traditional venture capital model. Kurt also founded the Trivium Fund, a fund of funds, in the same year. In 2017, Johnson became a Venture Partner at Purple Arch Ventures, a community of Northwestern alums. In 2021, they became a Board Member and Co-Founder of Breaker Logistics. In 2022, they became a Board Member at Career Highways, an AI powered career development company. Johnson also has experience as an Investor, Board Member, and Co-Founder of P3rceive, LLC, an AI simulation and modelling company. Kurt has also served as an Advisor for Vodori, Meeper Technology, and Clockwork. Additionally, they are the author of the Raystar of Terra series, which won the 2017 Best New First Book Silver Award- Moonbeam.

Kurt Johnson received their Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Iowa in 1991. Kurt then attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business for an MBA Program in Finance/Accounting in 2000. Following this, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for an MBA in Marketing and Management Strategy from 2000 to 2002. Prior to this, Kurt Johnson attended Evanston Township High School.
