Kristie Gonzales has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Kristie started their career as a Chief Editor at KOAT-TV in 2004 and then worked as a Promotions Producer at KOB-TV from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they were a Creative Services Writer/Producer at 6abc WPVI-TV Philadelphia. Kristie then joined ABC30 as a Creative Services & Public Affairs Director from 2010 to 2013. Kristie later worked as the Director of Creative Services & Local Programming at ABC11 Eyewitness News - WTVD from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Promotion and Digital Brand Manager at abc7NY. Kristie then joined TEGNA in 2016, where they served as the President and General Manager for KVUE-TV until 2023. During their time at TEGNA, they also held the position of Vice President, Media Operations from 2021 onwards. In 2019, they participated in the Broadcast Leadership Training Program at NAB Leadership Foundation. Currently, Kristie is the President and General Manager at 11Alive, starting in 2023.
Kristie Gonzales obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art with a focus on Painting and Journalism from The University of New Mexico between 1999 and 2003. Prior to that, they attended La Cueva High School from 1996 to 1999. Kristie Gonzales also completed the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in 2016.
