Shamshudin Kherani

Sam Kherani has a wealth of experience in the dental industry, with a career spanning over four decades. Shamshudin(Sam) currently holds the position of Chief Dental Officer at 123Dentist, where they are responsible for launching the company's education platform and utilizing their extensive background in dentistry and business. Prior to this role, Sam was the Principal Owner of Kherani Dental at Aspen, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills. Shamshudin(Sam) is also a member of the Entrepreneur Club at The Wharton School.

Throughout their career, Sam has held various leadership positions in dental practices and organizations. Shamshudin(Sam) served as a Dentist and Owner of Pier Dental Centre, where they managed the practice for ten years. Shamshudin(Sam) also worked at Las Vegas Institute Global, first as Clinical Director and later as VP Educational Advancement. Sam is the Founder and General Dentist of Crowfoot Dental Clinic, a role they held for over twenty-five years. Additionally, they founded and directed the Millennium Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

Beyond the dental field, Sam has contributed to the community by serving as the Past Board Chair of Strathcona Tweedsmuir School and as a Past Board Member of Aga Khan Foundation Canada. Shamshudin (Sam) Kherani has a diverse and extensive education history. Shamshudin(Sam) obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from The Wharton School from 2014 to 2016, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Prior to that, they earned a DDS degree in Advanced General Dentistry from Western University from 1977 to 1981. Shamshudin(Sam) also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hons from the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College, which they completed from 1974 to 1977. Shamshudin(Sam)'shigh school education includes a High School Diploma from Aga Khan Secondary School in Kampala, Uganda, and a General Studies degree from Ntare School, both obtained in 1971 to 1972 and 1969 to 1972, respectively. In addition to their academic achievements, Sam Kherani has obtained several certifications including Mastership and Fellowship from the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics and Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry.
