Jan Maly

Jan Maly serves as the Chief Technical Officer at 1337 since March 2023, leading a diverse ecosystem that connects and inspires niche communities. Prior to this role, Jan was a Machine Learning Engineer and Data Science Department Lead at STRV from February 2020 to January 2023, managing the growth of the department and developing AI/ML solutions to address business challenges. Jan's extensive experience includes positions as a Data Scientist at O2 Czech Republic, Software Engineer at Dayswaps, and a Machine Learning Specialist at CLEO Finance, among others. Jan holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics from Czech Technical University in Prague, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Applied Electronics. The technology stack includes expertise in Python, ML libraries, Azure Cloud, and various data processing frameworks.
