Meir Cabaltera has a diverse work experience in various roles within the renewable energy and construction industries. Meir started their career in 2006 as a Project Manager at Gayle Manufacturing Company, where they managed structural and architectural steel projects. From 2010 to 2016, Meir worked at Steed Construction, Inc., initially as a Project Engineer and later as a Pre-Construction Manager and Estimator. During this time, they focused on project execution, design build management, and competitive bidding. In 2016, they joined Clēnera as a Senior Project Manager, where they acquired, developed, and managed utility-scale solar farms and energy storage facilities. Meir then moved on to work at Lightsource bp as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing the development and management of solar energy projects. In 2021, they joined Swift Current Energy as the Vice President of Construction and Vice President of Project Office, leading the charge in executing their large perceived pipeline of renewable energy projects. Currently, Meir works at 174 Power Global as the Director of Project Management.

Meir Cabaltera obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Meir then attended Boise State University from 2005 to 2006 and obtained a second Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After completing their formal education, Meir Cabaltera obtained several certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2014, the LEED AP BD+C certification from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) in 2012, the Construction Management certification from Boise State University in 2009, and the Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from the State of Idaho in 2007.
