Mike Moore has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to project development engineering, design engineering, and project management in the renewable energy sector. Mike is currently serving as the Director of Project Development Engineering at 174 Power Global. Previously, Mike worked at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. as the Pre-Construction/Design & Engineering Manager, where they managed internal and external engineering resources and oversaw the development of construction documents for projects. Mike also held the position of Consultant/Owner at PV Solar Design, where they provided solar system design and project engineering services to EPC contractors. Prior to that, Mike worked as the Project Engineering Manager at NRG Energy, where they managed commercial solar projects and supported the maintenance of efficient EPC contract technical exhibits. Mike also served as the Design Engineering Manager at Consolidated Solar Technologies, where they led a team of engineers in designing and interconnecting solar arrays. In earlier roles, Mike worked as a Design Engineer at ENG 3 Group Inc. and as a Field Engineer/Project Coordinator at McDade-Woodcock, Inc. Mike started their career as an Intern Architect at Architects Studio, LLC and Antoine Predock Architect PC, where they gained experience in drafting construction documents and supporting pre-award design activities for international projects.
Mike Moore completed their Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at The University of New Mexico from 2001 to 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) with a specialization in Science of Energy Conservation at the University of Arizona from 2007 to 2009.
