Betty Wood

Betty Wood is an accomplished editor and writer with extensive experience in various editorial roles. Currently serving as Editor In Chief and Feature Editor at The Spaces magazine since January 2015, Betty also works as a self-employed freelance writer, crafting articles, copywriting, and self-publishing creative prose. Previous positions include Online Editor at Port Magazine, where Betty oversaw online features and managed social media, and Music Editor at Creature Magazine, where responsibilities included establishing a music section and leading a team of writers. Betty's early career includes roles as an Editorial Assistant at multiple publications, a Teaching Assistant, and a Tax Assistant at Ernst & Young LLP. Betty holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies and American Studies from the University of Nottingham and has studied Humanities at the University of Calgary.
