Laura Dye

Laura Dye has a diverse work experience in the field of product development and marketing. Laura started their career in 2001 as an Assistant Designer at Scarlet Designs and worked there until 2002. In 2011, they joined Allegra Brands: New Balance Healthcare as an Apparel Designer/Technical Designer and stayed there until 2012. Since 2012, Laura has been working at 1888 Mills, where they initially served as a Senior Product Development Manager and is currently the Director of Product Development & Marketing.

Laura Dye's education history starts in 1997 when they attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout for Fashion Design. Laura was there until 1999. In the same year, Laura also attended The Art Institutes where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fashion Design, completing their studies in 2001. Additionally, in 1999, they briefly attended Richmond, The American International University in London for Fashion Design.

In terms of additional certifications, Laura obtained a certification in Knit and Woven Fabric Design and Development from North Carolina State University in March 2023. Prior to that, in January 2022, they received a certification in Inventor patented terry construction from 1888 Mills.
