Rachel Sleet

Rachel Sleet has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Rachel began their career as a Summer Intern in IT Risk Assurance at PwC UK in 2015. In 2016, they participated in a 5-week "climate change innovation" summer school at Climate-KIC, where they worked in a team to develop a business idea focused on protecting individuals against air pollution.

Rachel subsequently worked as a Graduate Energy Specialist at Bulb Energy from February 2017 to February 2018. Following that, Rachel joined Wayfair in April 2018 as a Marketing Analyst before transitioning to the role of Software Engineer in September 2019. Rachel stayed with Wayfair until November 2022.

In December 2022, Rachel joined ClimatePartner as a Software Engineer and worked there until March 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at 1KOMMA5°, starting in May 2023.

Rachel Sleet completed their education from 2012 to 2016 at Imperial College London, where they earned a Master's Degree in Physics with a Year in Europe.
