Steve Bambury

Steve Bambury's work experience includes various roles in different companies.

From November 2022, they have been working as the Chief Operating Officer at 1Life (Management Solutions). Prior to that, they served as the Commercial Director from May 2022 to October 2022 and as the Director of Operations from February 2021 to May 2022, all within the same company.

Before their tenure at 1Life, Steve worked at Pure World Energy as the Director of Operations from February 2016 to August 2017. In this role, they were responsible for the operational performance and installation of Turbine 25+ Fleet, as well as managing service teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients.

Prior to Pure World Energy, Steve worked at 1Life (Management Solutions) as the Regional Director from September 2015 to January 2016 and as the Head of Commercial Operations from December 2013 to September 2015. In their role as Regional Director, they had overall responsibility for operational and commercial delivery across multiple local authority and private contracts. As the Head of Commercial Operations, they were responsible for various aspects such as energy management, environmental management, member retention/growth, contract management, and commercial revenue opportunities.

Before joining 1Life, Steve held various roles at Leisure Connection Ltd. Steve served as the Regional Director Hotel Clubs & Head of Energy from September 2011 to December 2013, where they managed energy management, reduction, investment, legislation, and policy, as well as overseeing operational management of 12 Rezidor Hotel Leisure Clubs. Steve also held roles such as Head of Energy Management, Regional Manager Private Clubs, Contract Manager, and Sales & Marketing Manager during their tenure at Leisure Connection.

Steve's earliest recorded work experience is as an Assistant Store Manager at Staples from September 1998 to May 1999.

Steve Bambury attended De Montfort University from 1995 to 1998, during which they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Leisure Management & Business Studies.
