Hylke Visser

Hylke Visser is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in infrastructure and cloud-native technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at 1Password since September 2022, Hylke focuses on the next-generation backend architecture utilizing Go, AWS, and Kubernetes. Previously, at The Things Industries from January 2016 to August 2022, Hylke held multiple roles including Lead Software Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed designing APIs and managing cloud deployments, as well as working as a Cloud Architect and a core team member of The Things Network. Hylke’s earlier experience includes a role as a Developer at FeedbackFruits and internships at Emando B.V. and The Things Industries. Hylke’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Distributed Systems and Services from Aalto University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology.
