Bhawna Asnani

Bhawna Asnani started their work experience in 2004 at Tavant Technologies as an Associate Technical Architect. In this role, they managed, planned, developed, and implemented technology solutions. Bhawna also had extensive experience in object-oriented design and development, Java, J2EE, middleware, and enterprise application architecture. Additionally, they worked on N-tier client-server based technology and framework development for internet applications. Bhawna remained in this position until June 2013.

In July 2013, Bhawna joined 1stDibs as a Senior Software Engineer. Bhawna held this role until February 2022.

In March 2017, they were promoted to the position of Principal Architect at 1stDibs, where they currently work.

Bhawna Asnani completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, from 2000 to 2004. Bhawna also obtained additional certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2023, and PMP - Project Management Professional from PMI - Project Management Institute in April 2013.
