Tim Whidden

Tim Whidden has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Tim started their career in 1996 when they formed the artist collaboration MTAA, presenting artworks and performances at prestigious institutions such as The New Museum of Contemporary Art. In 2000, Tim became the Creative Director at Wavexpress Inc., where they worked until 2008. During their time there, they were responsible for leading creative projects.

In 2008, Tim joined VINDICO Group as a Team Lead in Application Development. In this role, they played a crucial part in conceiving, overseeing, and developing the interactive architecture, programming, and visual design of Vindico 2.0, the company's ad server and ad campaign management software. Tim also led the API design and development of JavaScript libraries for ad rendering and serving solutions.

In 2011, Tim moved on to work as a Senior Developer at Ziff Davis, Inc. for a brief period before joining 1stdibs.com in 2012. At 1stdibs.com, they served as the Director of Front-End Engineering until 2015, after which they were promoted to VP of Engineering. Overall, Tim Whidden has displayed extensive expertise and leadership throughout their career.

Tim Whidden attended Columbus College of Art & Design from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fine Arts. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a speaker from NFT.NYC in 2021.
