Markus Ekelund has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Markus began their career as a System Administrator at Ericsson in 1993. After that, they worked as a Consultant at Cap Gemini from 1998 until 2004. Following that, Markus joined H&M as a Team Manager from 2004 to 2008. Markus then moved to Frontit, where they held various roles such as COO from 2008 to 2010, CEO from 2010 to 2012, and Partner and Board member from 2012 to 2013. Currently, Markus is the CEO of 2050, a company focused on addressing climate change and making green initiatives profitable for clients.
Markus Ekelund pursued their education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1997. During this time, they completed their Master of Science degree in the field of Physics.
