Audrey D. has been working in the field of research and development since 2006. Audrey began their career at Novozymes, where they held the roles of Global Project Leader, Fermentation Team Leader, Fermentation Scientist, and Research Scientist. During their time at Novozymes, they were part of the 2006 International Graduate Program in Research and Development, and completed assignments in Denmark and Japan. In 2021, Audrey D. began working as the Director of R&D 21stBIO California, where they manage a team of scientists and helps customers reach their objectives.
Audrey D. has a diverse educational background. Audrey completed their PhD in Microbial Physiology from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science in Biology, Health and Biotechnology specialised in microbiology/fermentation/metabolic engineering from Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse in 2002. Audrey also holds an Engineer's degree in Biochemical Engineering and Food Science from the same institution which they obtained in 1999.
