Additionally, Vanaja has worked as a consultant for various start-ups in the education and technology sectors. Vanaja started their career at Ogilvy & Mather as an Associate Partner and later worked at Wellspring Consulting and Nokia India Ltd. Vanaja's expertise lies in marketing communication, campaign development, and building diverse and inclusive cultures within organizations.
Vanaja Pillai completed their Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Delhi University from 1993 to 1996. Vanaja then pursued a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from K J Somaiya Institute of Management from 1996 to 1998. Prior to their university studies, they attended Apeejay School, but the specific dates and degree attained are unknown.
