Dean Myatt

Dean Myatt has extensive work experience in the legal field. From 1994 to 1999, they worked as an associate at various law firms, including McCorriston Miller Mukai MacKinnon and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. In 2001, they worked as a Corporate Counsel & Secretary at Catellus Development Corporation. From 2003 to 2006, they served as the Director & Corporate Counsel at Ross Stores, Inc.

Dean's most recent and significant work experience was at 24 Hour Fitness, where they held various roles from 2006 to 2016. Dean started as the Senior Director & Corporate Counsel and eventually became the Senior Vice President & General Counsel. During this time, they led a team of attorneys and support staff, overseeing all legal functions for the national fitness club chain. Dean was responsible for real estate/transactional, employment, membership, and corporate governance matters, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and litigation. Dean also played a key role in the sale of the company to private equity funds in 2014.

Dean Myatt has a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa - William S. Richardson School of Law. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Hon.) degree in English from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
