Andrea Maurano

Andrea Maurano has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and research. Andrea is currently working as a Principal Engineer at 24M Technologies since 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Samsung Electronics, starting as a Senior Research Engineer from 2015 to 2018, then becoming a Staff Research Engineer from 2018 to 2022, and finally serving as a Staff Engineer from 2022 until their departure. Additionally, they worked as a Research Affiliate and Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2022, where they collaborated with various professors and conducted research on nanostructured photovoltaic devices. Throughout their career, Andrea also gained experience at Dulwich College International as a Consultant in 2018, at Merck KGaA as a Research Associate from 2010 to 2011, at Imperial College London as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant from 2006 to 2010, at CERN as a Research Student in 2004, at IBM Global Services as an Intern in 2004, and at ESRF - European Radiation Synchrotron Facility as a Research Student in 2002.

Andrea Maurano completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. Andrea then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Polymer Solar Cells at Imperial College London. Following that, they went on to complete a Postdoctoral Associate program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015.
