Rysia Murphy

Rysia Murphy is a seasoned professional in the art industry with extensive experience in project management and agency leadership. Currently serving as a Partner at 291 Agency since January 2022, Rysia Murphy helps navigate the evolving landscape of the visual arts. Previously, Rysia co-founded Arisohn + Murphy in January 2016, providing strategic guidance for art-focused projects. Prior to that, Rysia held multiple roles at Gagosian Gallery from June 2007 to February 2016, including Art Fair Manager and Project Manager, overseeing significant exhibitions and gallery technology initiatives. Rysia Murphy holds a BA in Art History and International Relations from Connecticut College, graduated in 2007.
