Peter Herbert

Peter Herbert has extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Peter is currently the Chief Financial Officer at 29Metals since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at EMR Capital as an Investment Director, Corporate Finance from June 2018 to June 2021. Peter also has experience at Standard Chartered Bank, where they held roles such as Executive Director from January 2014 to June 2018 and Director from September 2011 to January 2014, focusing on Mining & Metals Industry clients in the ASEAN region. Earlier in their career, Peter worked at Gryphon Partners as an Associate Director from May 2009 to September 2011, and at Macquarie Group as an Executive from October 2007 to March 2009. Peter began their career at KPMG Corporate Finance LLC as a Senior Executive from February 2003 to October 2007, where they specialized in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and advising clients on M&A transactions.

Peter Herbert attended The University of Western Australia from 2000 to 2002 and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Accounting and Corporate Finance.
