Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, primarily in financial roles. Aaron is currently the Chief Financial Officer at 2degrees, a position they started in June 2022. Before joining 2degrees, Aaron held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Vocus Communications New Zealand from September 2018 to June 2022. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Cognition Education Limited from November 2013 to July 2018. Aaron also worked at Vodafone New Zealand as the Head of Planning & Reporting from November 2012 to September 2013. Aaron has a background in financial management, with previous roles at TelstraClear as Group Manager: Planning, Reporting & Analysis, Commercial Manager - Operations, and Commercial Manager - Wholesale. Before entering the telecommunications industry, Aaron worked at TATA Communications Ltd. (fka VSNL) as the European Financial Controller, as well as at Teleglobe and TMP Worldwide in financial roles.

Aaron Smith attended Mountain View High School from 1985 to 1989.
