Richard Turke

Richard Turke has over 20 years of experience in the media industry. Richard began their career in 2000 as a Tape Operator/Vault Coordinator at ABC Family Channel, where they were responsible for making dub copies to clients and labeling tapes. In 2004, they moved to G4 TV, where they worked as a Tape Operator/Dub Coordinator/Vault Coordinator, making dub copies for Producers and clients and patching and routing tape decks. In 2006, they became the Lead Media Coordinator at REELZ, managing nine employees and digitizing tapes into Final Cut QuickTime files. In 2010, they were the Vault/Dub Room Manager at Paramount Pictures, managing four Vault Coordinators and one Assistant Manager, and coordinating studio/field shoots. In 2011, they worked at Deluxe Entertainment Services Group as a Video Tech, encoding with Final Cut, AVS, and Digital Rapids. In 2020, they joined Giant Interactive as a Compression Lead, and in 2022 they moved to 2G Digital, where they are currently the Operations Manager.

Richard Turke received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the California Institute of the Arts.
