Ruben Cuadras

Ruben Cuadras, PhD has extensive experience in antenna design and engineering. Ruben held the position of Managing Director at 2J Antennas, specializing in antenna design for the M2M and IOT market. Ruben has over 15 years of experience in the field and has worked on more than 3000 projects, obtaining 28 patents and numerous certifications. Prior to that, they worked at Taoglas as an Engineering Manager and RF and Antenna Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for training and mentoring staff, conducting feasibility studies, and designing embedded antennas for various standards and systems. Cuadras has strong knowledge of electromagnetic simulations and circuitry modeling tools.

Ruben Cuadras, PhD, has an extensive education history. Ruben obtained their PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Research in Wearable Antennas from the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education (CICESE) from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Specialization in International Business at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) from 2006 to 2007. Ruben also holds a MSc in Electrical Engineering with a major in High Frequency from CICESE from 2004 to 2006. Their undergraduate degree, a BSc in Electrical Engineering with a major in Telecommunications, was obtained from the Sonora Institute of Technology (ITSON) from 1999 to 2004. Ruben Cuadras started their education with an Associate degree in Electronic Design from the Center of Technological Studies and Industrial Services (CETIS) from 1996 to 1999. Ruben also has a Diploma in Computer Programming from the Secondary Technical School (EST) from 1993 to 1996.
