John Robbins

John Robbins has extensive work experience in the IT industry. John is currently the VP of IT at 2seventy bio since November 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at bluebird bio from 2016 to 2021, including VP of IT and IT Director, G&A Systems. Previous to bluebird bio, John worked as an Independent Consultant and Project Manager at CIO Options from August 2015 to November 2016. John also has experience at TriCore Solutions, where they served as the Practice Director from January 2014 to February 2015 and as the Senior Director, Oracle Consulting Operations from April 2011 to December 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Consultant at TriCore Solutions from May 2008 to April 2011. John started their career at PTC in 1991, where they held positions as Director, Business Systems Analysts and Director, License Management. John was also a Consulting Manager, CFO Advisory Group at RSM McGladrey from November 2007 to May 2008.

John Robbins attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After this, they pursued further education at Boston College Carroll School of Management to earn a Master of Business Administration degree.
