Damien R

Damien R has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Damien currently works as a Data Science Team Lead at 360 medics, a position they started in December 2021. Prior to this, Damien was a Lead Data Scientist at the same company from January 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining 360 medics, Damien worked as a part-time freelance Data Science trainer at Jedha Bootcamp starting in April 2020.

Damien also has experience as a freelance Data Scientist/Engineer at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from June 2020 to January 2021.

From 2018 to 2019, Damien served as a Senior Data Scientist at Ogury Ltd, where they were responsible for big data collection and processing applied to targeted advertising. Damien worked on several projects deployed in production, including computing mobile apps similarities and categorizing mobile apps using IAB standard.

As a freelance trainer at ITESCIA, Damien taught NoSQL Database from January 2018 to May 2019.

Damien's earlier work experience includes roles as a Research Scientist at CGG from March 2013 to August 2016, a Signal Processing Engineer - Geophysicist & Project Leader at CGG from July 2012 to February 2013, and a Signal Processing Engineer - Geophysicist at CGG from July 2010 to February 2013. Damien was involved in signal processing applied to oil exploration and was responsible for processing 2D/3D broadband marine data and communication with clients.

Prior to CGG, Damien worked as a Project Engineer at Egis from April 2009 to June 2010, and as a Project Engineer at Terrasol from October 2008 to March 2009.

Damien R completed a Post Master's degree in Machine Learning & Big Data technologies with a focus on Data Science at Télécom Paris from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplôme d'Ingénieur in Sciences and Engineering from Ecole centrale de Lyon, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Damien also pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Civil engineering (Bauingenieurwesen) from Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2006 to 2008.
