David James

David James has extensive work experience in learning and development. David currently serves as the Podcast Host for The Learning & Development Podcast, where they discuss and debates topics affecting the profession with various guests. David is also the Chief Learning Officer at 360Learning, a role they assumed in 2022.

Prior to their current positions, David was the Chief Learning Officer at Looop.co, where they helped companies digitally transform their L&D by creating on-demand learning experiences. Before that, they held various roles at The Walt Disney Company, including Director of Talent Management, Learning & Organizational Development, EMEA.

David's earlier experience includes working at Lehman Brothers as an HR Associate, Training and at EDS/NatWest as a Training Officer. David also worked as a Team Leader/Trainer at Lloyds TSB Credit Card Services.

Throughout their career, David has been involved in designing and delivering training programs, assessing training needs, and evaluating the impact of learning solutions.

David James completed their education as follows:

1. In 2008-2010, they pursued a Post-Graduate Diploma in CIPD - Human Resource Management at Kingston University.

2. In 2002-2003, they obtained a Certificate in Social Sciences from The Open University.

3. In 1999-2000, they received a Certificate in Further & Adult Education from South East Essex College.

4. In 1990-1991, they completed a National Certificate in Business & Finance at Basildon College.

David James has also obtained several additional certifications, including being a member of Forbes Human Resources Council, obtaining certifications in the Culture Builders Assessment Tool, Change Style Indicator, MBTI Step I, and various others.
