Chad Francis has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Chad began their career as a Software Developer at Xactware in 1999, where they worked on various aspects of software development. Chad then advanced to Senior Developer and later became the Development Manager for the XactContents division. In 2012, Chad co-founded AirVend, a vending technology startup that was later acquired by 365 Retail Markets. As the Co-Founder and CEO of AirVend, Chad played a key role in developing a touchscreen POS system for vending machines. In 2015, they joined 365 Retail Markets as the VP of Software Development & Engineering, where they are responsible for creating innovative software and hardware for the unattended retail market. Additionally, Chad co-founded [io]development in 2010, a company that has successfully created innovative solutions for B2B partners and worked with major companies such as Disney, HomeDepot, and Costco.
Chad Francis pursued their undergraduate studies in Computer Science at Utah Valley University from 1998 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
