Alessandro Maccione

Alessandro Maccione is a Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at 3Brain AG since August 2016. Prior to this role, Alessandro held positions as a Researcher and Post Doc at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia from July 2008 to June 2017. Alessandro earned a Ph.D. while working at ETT spa from November 2004 to June 2008, and began their career as a Software Engineer at Softeco Sismat from November 2003 to November 2004. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Materials Engineering, and Robotics obtained from Università degli Studi di Genova between 2005 and 2007, as well as a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the same institution from 1997 to 2003.
