Derek Frabizio

Derek Frabizio has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Derek started their career as an Avionics Technician in the United States Marine Corps in September 2003 and worked in this role until February 2006. Derek then transitioned to a Quality Assurance Specialist position for a short period between February and August 2006. From August 2006 to September 2009, Derek worked as a Shift Supervisor. Derek then took on the role of a Military Recruiter from September 2010 to October 2013, where they successfully recruited high-quality applicants for the Marine Corps. In October 2013, Derek became a Maintenance Manager, overseeing maintenance, documentation, and quality control of avionics equipment and managing a team of over 250 people across 13 work centers. In May 2017, they became a Senior Project Manager at the Naval Air Systems Command, providing comprehensive project management support. Currently, Derek is working as a Project Manager at 3D perception, starting in June 2023. Throughout their career, Derek has demonstrated their ability to successfully manage projects, coordinate teams, and achieve project goals.

Derek Frabizio has a comprehensive education history that spans several years and covers various fields of study. In 2022, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management from Excelsior University. During the same period, they also completed a program in Program Management Level 2 from Defense Acquisition University. In 2019, they achieved a Certificate of Completion in the Advanced Course Distance Education Program from Marine Corps University. Prior to that, between 2017 and 2018, Derek pursued a program in Program Management Level 1 from Defense Acquisition University. Additionally, in 2017, they earned a Certificate of Completion in the Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education 1 from Joint Knowledge Online.

In their earlier years of education, Derek obtained various certificates through distance education and seminars. These include a Certificate of Completion in the Career Course Seminar Distance Education Program and the Career Course Seminar from Marine Corps University in 2015. In 2014, they completed a Certificate of Completion program at the Joint Forces Staff College. In 2010, Derek obtained a Certificate of Completion in The Staff Noncommissioned Officers Career Distance Education Program from Marine Corps University. Derek also completed a Military Recruiting/Sales Certificate of Completion from the United States Marine Corps Recruiters School in the same year. In 2007, Derek completed the Sergeants Distance Education Program from the Marine Corps Institute.

Aside from their formal education, Derek Frabizio has obtained additional certifications. Noteworthy among these are the Project Management Professional (PMP) ATP Bootcamp: 5 Day Cohort from Skillsoft in 2023, and the Acquisition Specialist certification from the United States Marine Corps in 2018. Derek has also acquired various technical certifications, such as the LITENING Maintainer's Training Course from Northrop Grumman in 2016, and Intermediate Work Center Document Management and Quality Assurance Administration certifications from the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training in 2015. Moreover, Derek holds a Mulit Systems Aviation Quality Assurance Representative certification from the United States Marine Corps, completed in 2014. Finally, in 2009, they obtained the United States Military Apprenticeship Program - Electronics Mechanic (Any Industry) certification, and in 2015, they completed the Miniature Electronics Repair course from the Naval Education and Training Command.
