Marja Kokko

Marja Kokko is an experienced educator with a master's degree in Science of Education from the University of Turku, specializing in Elementary Education and Teaching. Since August 2009, Marja has worked as a teacher at The English School, where responsibilities include serving as a classroom teacher, coordinator of the anti-bullying program, grade level coordinator, and member of the extended management team and Board of Directors. Additionally, Marja is an Education Specialist Freelancer with 3DBear, designing and facilitating online training for educators. Currently, Marja is involved with Finn Church Aid as a Teachers Without Borders Distance Expert, focusing on developing a peer group mentoring program for educators in fragile environments and producing relevant mentoring materials. Previous roles include Head of Educational Design at Suomi Learning and teaching positions at Kauhanojankoulu, Kajonkietsuksa School, and Hanhijoen koulu, including work as a Special Education Teacher.
