Daniel Cohen is the CEO and Co-Founder of 3DBio Therapeutics. Prior to this, they were an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where they worked with technology and industrial companies on projects addressing market entry, product launch, pricing, organizational transformation, post-merger management, procurement, and 3D printing innovation strategy. Daniel also served private equity firms & hedge funds, including firm-level strategy, portfolio strategy, and due diligence. In addition, Cohen conducted 25 projects in more than 15 industries, including medical devices, enterprise software, robotics, and aerospace. Daniel was also affiliated with the Corporate Finance, Private Equity, and Manufacturing practices at McKinsey & Company. Furthermore, Cohen led several pro-bono strategy projects for New York City-based charities. Before working at McKinsey & Company, they were a Summer Associate at the same company. Prior to that, they were a Homeland Security Graduate Research Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Cohen also has experience as a Research Assistant (Ph.D. Candidate) at Cornell University.
Daniel Cohen has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, where their research focused on 3D Printing. Daniel also has an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. Daniel is certified by the New York State and New Jersey State as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B).
