Matthew Bauer

Matthew Bauer has diverse work experience dating back to 2011. Matthew'smost recent position is as a Geospatial Analyst with 3GIMBALS since February 2023. Matthew's other experience includes being a Research Analyst and Assistant at Portland State University from March 2020 to January 2022, a Wildland Firefighter at Oregon Department of Forestry and Patrick Environmental Inc in 2017 and 2018, and a 6276 KC-130J Crewmaster with the United States Marine Corps from October 2011 to June 2017. Matthew's roles with the University of Southern California included being a Research Assistant and Grader from January 2023 to May 2023. Before that, they were a Geospatial System Specialist with the U.S. Forest Service from November 2021 to February 2023, and a Geospatial Analyst in 2022, where they worked independently on assignments relating to maps and data.

Matthew Bauer completed their Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, with a minor in Biology, at Portland State University from 2018 to 2021. Before that, in 2017, they briefly attended Clackamas Community College to pursue general studies. In 2016, they also pursued general studies at American Military University. Currently, they are pursuing their Master of Science in Geographic Information Science and Technology at the University of Southern California, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
