Megha Bhattacharyya

Megha Bhattacharyya provides research support for the production of systematic reviews and evidence gap maps on the effectiveness of economic and social interventions in low- and middle-income countries, along with other research and evidence synthesis projects.

Prior to joining 3ie, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex where she was instrumental in conducting systematic reviews of automation technologies and commensurate skill development for workers to reduce job loss. She has an additional year of experience in secondary and primary development research, working as an intern with multiple research organisations, including the Development Impact Evaluation group at the World Bank. Her research interests include gender, education, health, and climate change.

Megha holds an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Sussex, and a BSc in Economics from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
