Sally Lewis

Sally Lewis is a Senior Product Development Engineer at 3M, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this role, Sally was a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2016 to April 2021, where essential synthetic and chemical knowledge was gained under the guidance of Frank Leibfarth. Sally's experience includes a research internship at Eastman Chemical Company focusing on adhesive formulations, as well as undergraduate research at Virginia Tech and The University of Southern Mississippi, where research contributed to the development of advanced polymers and biomedical applications. Sally holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Polymer Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science degree with double majors in Chemistry and Nanoscience from Virginia Tech.
