Talal Hasan

Talal Hasan is the current Carbon General at 44.01. Prior to this, they held various positions at different companies. Talal was with Wakud from November 2018 to April 2020 where they served as a Board Observer. From October 2017 to January 2020, they were with Voltea as a Board of Director. Talal was also with Locum's Nest from July 2017 to April 2020 in the capacity of a Board of Director.

From January 2017 to June 2020, they worked with IDO Investments as a Senior Investment Manager. In this role, they assisted with the formation and launch of IDO Investments, a $130m technology investment vehicle conceptualised and owned by the government of Oman. Talal made venture capital investments globally into growth stage companies in Energy, Healthcare, Food/Agriculture, and other related technology sectors.

From May 2015 to August 2018, they worked as a Private Investor with Aspiration, Mr & Mrs Smith, DevicePilot, Equity for Punks, Isomer Capital, and ThinkMarkets. Prior to that, they were an Associate with OQ from May 2014 to January 2017. Talal also served as the Commercial Director & Shareholder of Al Barij International LLC from September 2012 to May 2014.

Talal Hasan is also a Co-Founder of Bikum Discount which they exited in September 2012.
