Camilo Zuluaga has held a variety of roles in the software engineering industry since 2016. In that year, they held a Research Fellowship at the Universidad Autonoma de Manizales, where they worked on understanding and developing controllers for a gyroscope-based hardware, as well as making mesh designs and FEM Analysis for engineering concepts applied to dentistry. In 2018, they worked as a Service Engineer at Jacobsen, A Textron Company, where they were responsible for structuring the engineering service department, processes, and technology used to manage fleets and services. Camilo also managed all communication with the factory to provide feedback and product improvement suggestions. In 2019, they worked as a Java Software Engineer at Noatec. In 2020, they held two roles: Java Cloud Engineer at Uhoo and CTO at Aura. In their role at Uhoo, they developed Java microservices over the Spring Framework, and designed, built, and set up software infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability over AWS and GCP. At Aura, they guided the dev team to build a No-Code, easy to use, platform for digitalizing parishes, mainly payments but including communications, website, app, community management, and donors management. In 2022, they began their current role as Senior Software Engineer at 47 Degrees - Now Xebia.
Camilo Zuluaga completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Autonoma de Manizales between 2010 and 2016. In 2015, they completed an Engineer internship at the Universidad Nacional del Sur in the field of Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022.
