Juan Pedro Moreno has been working in the software engineering field since 2005. Juan Pedro began their career as a freelance web and .NET developer before joining Universidad de Sevilla as an intern in 2006. In 2007, they worked as a software development engineer for both AEBIA and Servinform. In 2014, they joined 47 Degrees I Part of Xebia as a Scala Software Engineer. Juan Pedro was later promoted to Principal Engineer and then Director of Engineering. At 47 Degrees I Part of Xebia, they were responsible for providing technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers, as well as defining technical architecture, design, and development of large-scale, high-performance, and distributed systems. In 2014, they also joined Tecsisa as a Scala Software Engineer, where they were responsible for software development projects related to cloud services for energy solutions.

Juan Pedro Moreno obtained a degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla between 2000 and 2006.
