Patrick Connelly has worked in the medical device and research industries since 2011. Patrick began their career at 3M, where they held the roles of Regulatory Affairs Associate (T2), Advanced Research Engineer (T2), Research Engineer (T1), and Corporate Tech Aide. In 2012, they became a Researcher at the University of St. Thomas. In 2013, they took on the role of FSAE Vice President of Operations at the University of St. Thomas. In 2018, they joined 4C Medical Technologies, Inc. as Manager of Regulatory, Quality, & Therapy Development, Regulatory & Quality Manager, and Principal Regulatory Specialist. In their role as Principal Regulatory Specialist, they co-authored the first Japan regulatory authority approved early feasibility study for an implantable medical device.
Patrick Connelly obtained their High School Diploma from Saint Thomas Academy in 2010, where they studied Biology, General. Patrick then attended the University of St. Thomas, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering. In December 2014, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from 3M. In February 2017, they were Forklift Certified from the OSHA Safety Training Institute.
