Simone Chinaglia 🇮🇹

Simone Chinaglia has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Technical Lead at SYS-DAT Group, where they developed custom integrations in Symfony for the communication between the warehouse management system SAP and the e-commerce website. Ing. Simone also contributed to the development of ready-to-use software packages to streamline the development and release process.

In 2017, Chinaglia joined 50ml Milano as the Chief Technology Officer, where they provided technological leadership and expertise.

In 2019, they worked as an IT Project Manager at NeroGiardini, leading a project involving the migration of a physical server to dedicated cloud servers in Amazon Web Services. The project required managing complex software, including a Magento 2 database of approximately 130GB and over 2000 retail stores, necessitating a seamless transition without interruption of the web service.

Chinaglia founded their own companies, starting with Simone Chinaglia in 2012, where they held the role of Fractional CTO, Magento Commerce Certified Developer, AWS Architect & DevOps Certified until 2022. Ing. Simone then went on to establish Intarmour in 2022 and Magento Factory in 2023, where they serve as Founder and CEO.

Throughout their various roles, Chinaglia has demonstrated authenticity, leadership, and technological innovation as guiding principles in their work and business approach.

Ing. Simone Chinaglia obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology for Biomedical Research from the Università degli Studi dell'Insubria from 2011 to 2013. Ing. Simone then pursued a degree in Computer Engineering, specializing in Ingegneria informatica (L8), from Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Pontificio Collegio Gallio Como, graduating with a High School Diploma in Liceo Scientifico in 2010. In addition to their educational background, they have obtained several certifications, including the Adobe Certified Expert Magento Commerce Cloud and Magento Commerce Developer certifications from Adobe in 2019, the Certificate of Recognition "Galactic Problem-Solver" from the NASA International Space Apps Challenge in 2019, the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certifications from Amazon Web Services in 2015 and 2014 respectively, and the Foundation Certified Developer certification from ZURB in 2015.
