Ela Mae Catacutan

Ela Mae Catacutan has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic and UI/UX design. Ela Mae is currently working at 500 Designs as a Senior UI/UX Designer, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the same company as a UI/UX Designer from June 2020 to August 2021.

Before joining 500 Designs, Ela Mae worked at Impusion.be SPRL starting in December 2018 as a Jr. Graphic Designer. In this role, they were responsible for designing characters for a brand and assisting in establishing brand identity for businesses. Ela Mae also maintained the consistencies of source files.

Prior to Impusion.be SPRL, Ela Mae worked at Cloudstaff from November 2015 to February 2020. Their roles at Cloudstaff included Associate Graphic Designer, where they designed user-friendly UI for in-house systems and created prototypes for project presentations. Ela Mae also worked as an Associate Graphic Designer Trainee, collaborating with stakeholders and senior designers to design websites and systems. Additionally, they served as an Associate Graphic Designer Intern where they designed posters, converted rasterized images to vectors, and created caricatures for ad campaigns and promotional videos.

Ela Mae Catacutan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University. Ela Mae attended the university from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Ela Mae also obtained certifications in "Empathy in UX Design" and "UX Research: Going Guerrilla" from LinkedIn in April 2020.
