Dan Gibbard

Dan Gibbard is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in writing and editing across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Writer at 50,000feet since May 2018, Gibbard focuses on financial services, developing content and sales frameworks for new payments products, along with contributing to strategic marketing initiatives. Prior roles include Senior Writer-Editor at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where responsibilities involved technical writing, editing official communications, and managing projects like the Annual Report to Congress. Gibbard also held positions at the Chicago Tribune, ultimately as Copy Desk Chief, overseeing a team of editors, and as Communications Director for Catholic Extension, leading media strategies and editing the organization’s flagship magazine.
